I am a Texan. I spent a few years in central Missouri during elementary and in Virginia early in my career, but have spent the majority of my “growing up” and adult life in Texas. I received my undergraduate training at Texas A&M University where I earned a BA in Biology with a minor in Spanish. I completed my medical training in San Antonio at UT Health and Christus Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency. I have spent the majority of my career practicing full scope family medicine and as a family medicine residency faculty physician. My special healthcare interests include women’s health and preventive care. My faith, family and relationships with others are the priorities in my life. My hobbies include kayaking, traveling, chauffeuring my two daughters and entertaining family and friends in my home.
